FL Non-Owner Policy

Did you know that Florida drivers can get auto insurance even if they do not own a personal vehicle? Many independent auto insurance carriers can write a non-owner's policy for you. Below are some important information to help you get started.

You cannot own a car or have "regular access" to a vehicle registered to someone in your immediate household.
Must have a valid Florida driver's license (or be in the process of reinstating one). If you are purchasing this to reinstate a license after a DUI or multiple violations, you must notify the agent so they can include the state filing.
Never mention the use of rideshare or gig work.
Must get FL minimum coverage limits (personal injury protection and property damage liability).
