Early returns, refunds, and exchanges Disclosures

By renting with EconRentals LLC, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Exchanges:

·Exchange of a vehicle is limited based on availability. EconRentals will attempt to match a vehicle like the vehicle on a rental. Exchanging a vehicle may subject price changes towards the rental.

2. Refunds:

·If there is a mechanical issue with a vehicle during a rental, EconRentals will place the renter in an available replacement vehicle or repair the vehicle to resolve the mechanical issue. If either option cannot be performed and the issue cannot be rectified in a reasonable manner, EconRentals will issue a refund.  

·

Refunds are prorated and calculated based on usage of the vehicle, damages incurred during the rental period, refueling costs, and replacement of missing items (such as key, etc…).

·Return of the rental vehicle must be within the possession of EconRentals and we must must complete a quality assessment of the vehicle, BEFORE a refund can be processed.

EconRentals does not charge security deposits. If damages and/or replacement costs exceed rental cost, your refund will automatically be forfeited.

Refunds are processed within 1-3 business days and are remitted in the method of payment received. EconRentals reserve the right to remit refund in an alternate method of payment (via cash, card chargeback, or Zelle) as necessary.

3. Early Returns

·Please note that by signing a vehicle rental agreement with EconRentals, you are expected to fulfill the minimum 7-day rental requirement. Early returns of a rental vehicle will result in breaking the vehicle rental agreement and will forfeit any special promotions or discounts associated with the rental.

Vehicle rentals are billed in 24-hour blocks. If you return a vehicle more than 30 minutes late into a new day, you will be charged for that entire day.

A rental is considered active at the effective date and time of the executed rental agreement. You have a 30-minute grace period at the start of the rental to cancel the rental and return the vehicle without penalty.

You must return a vehicle at its original site of pickup or at an approved location disclosed by an EconRentals Representative. Any vehicle drop-offs at an unapproved location may result in late return fees.
